Manfrotto MVH500AH Lightweight Fluid Video Head for Multiple Tripods

The MVH500AH is a lightweight head with a wider platform designed for HDSLR bodies, featuring a sliding plate that enables balancing the latest interchangeable lens cameras. Ensuring smooth shots and fine control with up to 5kg (11lbs) of equipment, it is the most compact head in Manfrotto's successful Bridging Technology range, replacing the Manfrotto 701HDV video head.

Boasting beautifully smooth shots, the 500 head is equipped with professional fluid cartridges on both pan and tilt axes, guaranteeing every camera movement is smooth, controlled, and precise. The side lock system allows for faster, easier, and safer use, enabling the camera and sliding QR plate to click quickly into the head from above, without the need for alignment or sliding in from the back. This also makes it quicker and simpler to lift the camera out of the head from above, eliminating the need for a secondary safety lock.

The 500 head has a pre-set counterbalance of 2.4kg (5.3 lbs.), but can support equipment up to 5kg (11 lbs.). It features one Easy Link 3/8" connector, allowing for the attachment of an external monitor or other accessory equipment. The MVH500AH head comes with a flat base tripod mount, enabling attachment to a hybrid photo/video tripod, a traditional photo tripod, slider, monopod, or other supports.
